# Se connecter via RPC

Chiliz est disponible via un Mainnet pour vos projets de production, et dispose d'un Testnet à des fins de test. Le Testnet de Chiliz s'appelle Spicy Testnet.

Ces endpoints RPC publics sont gratuits et partagés, ils sont donc soumis à des limites de débit. La limite exacte dépend du fournisseur et du fait que vous ayez ou non créé un compte chez lui : les endpoints publics (aucun compte requis) conviennent au développement et aux tests, tandis que le trafic de production est mieux servi en vous enregistrant auprès d'un fournisseur pour bénéficier de limites plus élevées, ou en [exécutant votre propre nœud](/fr/developper/notions-de-base/se-connecter-a-chiliz-chain/executer-un-noeud-sur-chiliz-chain.md).

Si vous atteignez une limite, ajoutez un court délai entre les requêtes (de 1 seconde à 1 minute selon vos besoins) et utilisez un backoff exponentiel en cas d'erreur plutôt que de réessayer immédiatement.

**À propos du Testnet Scoville**

En mai 2023, nous avons remplacé le Testnet Scoville par le Testnet Spicy.

Tous les développeurs qui ont déployé ou prévoient de déployer sur le Testnet Scoville doivent déployer leurs tests sur le Testnet Spicy à la place, car il sera maintenu à jour pour refléter directement la nouvelle Chiliz Chain.
