# Connect to Mainnet and Testnet

Chiliz Chain is available through a Mainnet for your production projects, and has a Testnet for testing purposes. The Chiliz testnet network is called Spicy Testnet.

This page gives you the essential parameters to connect to each network.

The RPC endpoints listed here are free to use, and that comes with a rate limit.

To avoid reaching that limit while testing your dApp, we recommend that you add pause time between requests, ranging from 1 second to 1 minute depending on your needs.
