# Dönem (Epoch)

## Epoch nedir?

Epoch, bir blok zincirinde saat veya dakika değil, blok sayısıyla ölçülen sabit bir zaman dilimidir.

Chiliz Chain'de:

* **Chiliz Mainnet**: 1 epoch = 28.800 blok, yaklaşık olarak **1 gün**.
* **Spicy Testnet**: 1 epoch = 7.200 blok, yaklaşık olarak **6 saat**.

## Epoch sonunda ne olur?

Epoch'lar, Chiliz Chain'in Proof of Staked Authority (PoSA) konsensüsünün kalp atışı niteliğindedir. Epoch sınırları, zincirin validator'la ilgili durumunu güncellediği anlardır; bu güncellemeler şunları kapsar:

* Her validator'ın toplam stake edilmiş CHZ miktarı dikkate alınarak **aktif validator setinin yenilenmesi**.
* Validator'lara ve delegatörlerine **staking ödüllerinin dağıtılması**.

## Epoch beni neden ilgilendirir?

CHZ stake ediyorsanız, stake'ten çıkılan token'ları ne zaman talep edebileceğinizi epoch'lar belirler: Chiliz Mainnet'te unstaking işleminin ardından, token'ları talep edebilmek için mevcut epoch'un kalan kısmı ile 2 tam epoch daha (yaklaşık 3 gün) beklemeniz gerekir.
