Cobo is an all-in-one custody solutions provider to let you safeguard and manage all your digital assets. It provides institutions with comprehensive custody technologies, including custodial and non-custodial wallets, MPC, smart contract wallets, Wallet-as-a-Service, SuperLoop, and Argus for secure digital asset management.
Cobo Wallet is designed to store, manage, and secure various digital assets, including Chiliz and Fan Tokens, Bitcoin, and other cryptocurrencies. Cobo Wallet also provides services such as staking and multi-signature vaults for institutional investors.
You can safely store your company's CHZ with Cobo, and use their service to send and receive CHZ.
Of course, your company needs to have an account on the Cobo platform in order for you to have access to the Cobo workspace.
For safety reasons, Cobo requires you to have a biometric authentification activated on your phone (such as fingerprinting or face recognition).
You must first log in to your Cobo dashboard. That dashboard gives you an overview of the current state of your account.
Note: There are two available environments for Cobo: Sandbox and Production.
For this documentation, we are going to use the Production environment. Depending on your company settings, you might have access to one or two of these environments.
To send or receive CHZ, open the "Wallets". It will display the company wallets which you have access to.
Open a wallet by clicking it. It displays all the assets you can use, along with their amount:
If you have no wallets available, you can create one by clicking on the "Create Wallet" button from the "Wallets" page.
You can rely on Cobo's documentation too!
Click the "Create Wallet" button to open the wallet creation modal.
Enter your desired Wallet Name (up to 30 characters)
Choose Asset Wallet as the Wallet Type
Click "Create".
The wallet will appear in the Wallet page. You can now add the Chiliz token:
Click the "Add token" button at the top right.
Type "CHZ" to find the Chiliz token. Select it.
Click "Add token".
You're ready to send and deposit some CHZ! On the right of the wallet name, you have three icons: Deposit, Transfer, and View.
To receive CHZ in that wallet, click the "Deposit" button on the right to generate a deposit address for CHZ. It opens a modal displaying both the address and a QR code for that address.
Use that address to receive CHZ from another wallet!
To receive CHZ from your wallet, click the "Transfer" button on the right. A modal window opens:
Fill in the fields: receiving address, CHZ amount, possibly a word about your intent with that transactions, and finally, you can add a label or a comment (you might need to scroll down a bit).
Click the "Submit" button. Cobo asks you to confirm the transfer using the Cobo app. Done!
To check you transactions, open the "Transactions history" menu to find all your transfers listed:
